In this photo I am in one of the titi monkey (Callicebus cupreus) rooms at the California National Primate Research Center. Featured with me are Wasabi, Sashimi, and Miakoda. These monkeys are part of the behavioral research done in Karen Bales' lab. No terminal research is performed on these monkeys and all tests are minimally invasive. I chose this location because it's the place on campus where I find myself happiest and least stressed. Spending even a short amount of time with these cute little guys has

I am double majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior as well as Psychology. I am also an undergraduate research assistant in the Bales lab at the California National Primate Research Center and am starting a clinical internship at Sutter Sacramento.
